Privacy Policy

Pickles Baby Tracker ("Pickles", "the app") is made by Pendragon Development ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app and on this website.
The short version
- Everything you log stays on your own phones. We don't run any servers that receive it.
- There are no accounts, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking.
- We don't collect, sell or share any personal information.
Information stored in the app
The names, dates of birth, feeds, sleeps, nappy changes, food, medicine, temperatures and notes you enter are stored in a database on your device. We never receive a copy. If you delete the app, this data is deleted from that device.
Syncing between phones
If you choose to pair phones (for example with your partner's), the app sends your timelines directly from one phone to the other over your local Wi-Fi network. It doesn't go via the internet or through our servers. Only phones you've paired with a pairing code can sync. Data is sent over your home network without additional encryption, so only sync on Wi-Fi networks you trust.
To find each other, phones running Pickles show their device name to other devices on the same Wi-Fi network. Paired phones also share whether Pickles Pro is unlocked, so one purchase can cover the family.
If you unpair a phone, the data it already received stays on it until it's deleted there.
Camera
The camera is used only to scan the pairing code shown on another phone. Images are not saved or sent anywhere.
Purchases
Pickles Pro is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment, and we don't receive your payment details or your name. The app only learns whether Pro is unlocked.
Exports
With Pickles Pro you can export your data to a spreadsheet file. The file is created on your device and goes only where you choose to save or share it.
Children
Pickles is for parents and carers. Information about your babies is entered by you and stays on your devices, as described above.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
Your rights
Because we don't hold any of your personal information, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can edit or delete your data in the app at any time, or remove it entirely by deleting the app. If you contact us by email, we'll use your message only to reply to you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information (for example, if we add optional cloud sync in the future), we'll update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
